The ducat is one of Europe's oldest coin formats and was struck in Austria for centuries. The Austrian Mint still issues it today with the design of 1915. The obverse shows Emperor Franz Joseph I, the reverse the double-headed eagle.
Every piece carries the year 1915, no matter when it was actually struck. That is normal for restrikes and is stated openly. The gold has a fineness of 986, with a fine gold content of 3.44 g.
